Matthew Henley
Managing Director

Matthew brings over a decade of experience in real estate private credit and equity markets. Prior to founding Henley Capital, Matthew held senior roles at Qualitas and Gresham Partners, where he was responsible for the origination, structuring and management of billions of dollars of real estate transactions on behalf of some of the worlds largest institutional investors and sovereign wealth funds.  

Having worked for the very investors and private funds that now fund his clients’ projects, Matthew offers a unique advantage; he understands how investors assess, structure and approve transactions. This inside knowledge, combined with his expertise in financial modelling, feasibility analysis, funds management, and credit underwriting, ensures his clients’ are positioned to secure optimal funding outcomes.

Matthew holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Engineering (honours) from the University of Sydney.
